Philip V

Philip V, Silver Didrachm, Macedonian

Struck during the late reign of Philip V of Macedon on a reduced Attic standard, this silver didrachm pairs a mature, diademed portrait of the king with an oak wreath enclosing the club of Herakles, the royal title, and administrative control marks.
